Queridos amigos,
Several times each year, the Section has a Poetry Night at which friends and members of the Section read original poetry. Poetry lovers in the Section read favorite poems, if there is time. Original poetry has the spotlight and priority. We’re lucky that we have several poets who participate regularly in the Section meetings.
Las Noches de Poesía se celebran en Zoom. Algunos de nuestros poetas residen en lugares alejados del norte de California.
La Sección también patrocina los Salones de Luna Nueva. Se trata de veladas de poesía, música, conversación, cuentacuentos, bromas y aperitivos al estilo del romanticismo temprano. Como muchos amigos y miembros viven lejos, hemos optado por reuniones híbridas para estos salones.
