Here is a summary and commentary concerning Lecture 3 in the cycle of lectures commonly referred to as The Fifth Gospel. Rudolf Steiner presented this Lecture 3 in Norway on October 3, 1913. This summary and commentary is part of an ongoing series of lectures that discuss Rudolf Steiner’s Christology from a literary perspective. The lectures arise from the ongoing meetings of the North American Section for the Literary Arts & Humanities. This current presentation was first presented as a Section offering to the Faust Branch for the Branch’s Holy Nights study in 2025. I have edited and revised it for this website.
