 Winter/Spring 2024 Meeting Schedule

for the Section for the Literary Arts & Humanities

of the School for Spiritual Science in North America

 

This schedule might change; so, please keep an eye on the website.

Meetings occur on Zoom unless otherwise stated.

The Zoom credentials are sent to interested persons on the Friday prior to the meeting.

 

2024

January: Intercession!

Meditate, take long walks, meditate, breathe, read those novels you have kept on the shelf too long, write a novel (or at least an essay?), learn some etudes, try a new recipe, write some poems, breathe, pet the dog, practice maitri, go shopping, breathe, meditate. And what about Edward Gibbon?

 

February 3: First Meeting of 2024. Ground Hog Day! We’ll discuss themes and topics for the coming year, and we will review what everyone has been doing. I might say something about the meaning of the Beautiful Sciences.

February 10: Celebrate the Lunar New Year / Year of the Dragon! Poetry Night!

February 17: No Meeting

February 24: “Ghost-Modernism”

 

March 2: No Meeting

March 9: “Karmic Streams / Karmic Dreams: Discussion & Walkabout”
