“The Dawn of the Beautiful” / Morning Lectures from Day One of the 2024 North American Section Conference

Dear Friends,

While a full report and a “Proceedings of the Conference” lie yet ahead, here are recordings of the two lectures that began our eight-day 2024 North American Section Conference. I was fortunate to have pushed all the buttons correctly, and I was able to get good recordings. I was less successful after that. Due to the complications of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping up conversations and tracking other details, I messed up with the video and ran out of space on the SD memory in the afternoon, and then I forgot to push “record” on the H6 Zoom recorder — so I only was able to record the morning talks.

But, as I said, I expect to publish the “Proceedings of the Conference,” and in that case all the talks will be memorialized.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped with this important Section event!
