The Community Begins: Rudolf Steiner’s “Theosophical” Years, 1900-1914

Dear Friends,

In November 2025 the Anthroposophical Society in America hosted three one-hour sessions on the topic The Community Begins: Rudolf Steiner’s “Theosophical” Years, 1900-1914.

These presentations were an offering to the ASA from the Section for the Literary Arts & Humanities of the School for Spiritual Science.

The offering was meant as a lead-in to the Harvard Divinity School “100 Year Rudolf Steiner” Conference that will occur in early December 2025. Our Section will be well represented at the conference. Bruce Donehower, Daniel Polikoff, Jeff Hipolito, and the former Section leader from the Goetheanum Martina Maria Sam will give presentations.

Here are the three video recordings that document the ASA event in November. These recordings are complete; they included the 30-minute introductory lecture to each session and the 30-minute conversation and discussion that followed the introduction.

I look forward to more opportunities for our Section to collaborate with the Society and other Sections of the School. Keep an eye on the website for schedule and announcements for 2026.

Good fortune, bad—
Each to its opposite.
The Time is at Hand!”
