On November 8, 2025 Andrew Linnell from the Natural Sciences Section gave a presentation with the title “What will AI do to Humanity?”

Here is a full recording of Andrew’s talk. It includes the comments and discussion with the audience at the end of Andrew’s 30-minute presentation.

“Transhumanism and Digitalisation as Challenges to Being Human” is one of the our Section’s research topics, and that topic has been featured in past issues of STIL magazine and at conferences at the Goetheanum.

Right before the COVID crisis, our Section group in Northern California devoted several meeting to this topic, when we looked at Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein.
